Chalciporus Bataille

Three species are known in Europe. Fruitbody boletoid. Tubes yellow, yellow cinnamon or carmine. Flesh acrid or bitterish.

Chalciporus hypochryseus (?utara) Courtecuisse

Description
Not yet known to the author. Tubes and pores yellow, in every other respect seems rather similar to Chalciporus piperatus.

Habitat. Coniferous forests.

Distribution. Apparently very rare in Europe, known from the Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy and Spain.

Note. Sometimes treated as mere variety of Chalciporus piperatus (see Klofac 2006)
